1) Things you need : ruler, strip of paper, scissor and pen or maker.
2) Wrap the paper strip around the finger to be sized. Make sure the strip is snugly fit. Mark the joint with pen or maker.
3) Line the paper strip down againt the ruler. Measure from the beginning of the strip to the mark point.
4) Compare your measurement with the charge below.

5) So my measuring is 5.2 cm and that make my ring size falls into size 6. Here, I have ring gauge to assure that this method is pretty accurate.
